Part One: The Forest

1.) Imagine yourself at ease lying down in a peaceful position. You begin to hear these words:

2.) Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. (Psalm 48:9)

3.) I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. Psalm 119:15

4.) Our God is an awesome God
He reigns, from heaven above
With wisdom, power and love
Our God is an awesome God.

5.) Faith, hope, love…
Faith, hope, love…

6.) One body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

7.) Jesus Christ is Lord.

12.) These words ring truth and you soon find yourself in a beautiful old growth forest. You see ahead of you your favorite tree for meditating….You feel, peace, joy and love. Next to your favorite tree is an old tree stump and on this stump is a wise man. This wise, kind man, called Solomon, greets you and says “Sit down by me and listen to some wise precepts and see the truth in them.” So you sit down and listen intently to his words.

13.) 7 Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7)

14.) Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5)

15.) Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. (Prov 3:7)

16.) Do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, (Prov 3:11-12)

29.) 15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is (Eph 5:15-17)

30.) Whoever fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge. (Prov 14:26)

31.) Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity[c] and honor. (Prov 21:21)

32.) 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. (Eph 4:2)

33.) Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble. (Prov 28:14)

34.) Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (Prov 16:3)

35.) Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. (Gal 6:7)

36.) “In your anger do not sin”[d]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. (Eph 4:26-27)

37.) 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen (Eph 4:29)

38.) 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (Eph 4:32)

39.) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For through wisdom[b] your days will be many, and years will be added to your life. (Prov 10:10-11)

40.) Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph 5:19-20)

41.).) After hearing these words of great wisdom, you begin to cry in joy, for you have heard something here that relates to your current life experience. You begin to say these scriptures to yourself in complete joy…..
42.) 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Cor 13:4-8)
43.) Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh…. the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. (Gal 5:22)
44.) I love you, LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:1)
45.) LORD, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells. (Psalm 26:8)
46.) Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. (Psalm 36:5)

55.) 8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. (Romans 13:8)
56.) Flee from sexual immorality. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. (1 Cor 6:18)
57.) Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God. (Ex 20:7)

58.) Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. (Col 4:2)
59.) 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
60.) Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

62.) At your tree, you look around and pay attention to the beauty and balance around you….You see deer in the distance. You see birds around you. You hear a lions roar….. and see flowers on the ground. You see this and more of God’s beautiful creations.
You begin to get messages from God….

63.) ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’

64.) “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End” (REV 6:6)

65.) I am the LORD your God (Ex 20:2)

66.) I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. (Proverbs 9:17)

67.) “For I know the plans I have for you,”, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

68.) 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deut 6:5)

72.) God fades away. You have found truth again in his Word. Your faith in Christ has been strengthened……..You appreciate the messages given by God and by Solomon……You feel peace, joy and love….

Part 2: The Ocean

73.) Now, imagine yourself on a beautiful beach. You can feel the warm sand beneath your feet. You see all of God’s wondrous creations around you. You decide to walk on, feeling the ocean breeze on your face. You can see the beauty of the moon and the sun……A figure approaches…He seems familiar to you….He glows with love and light….He is the prince of peace, the king of kings, the lamb of God, the Messiah, the Christ!.. It is Jesus!…You walk over to him, hug him and feel tremendous love…You both sit down and face the ocean… You are so happy to meet him and hear his words. Jesus then begins to speak:

74.) “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30) “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)

75.) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16)

76.) Light has come into the world (John 3:19)

77.) “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30) “I and the Father are one.” (John 10:30)

78.) 12 Love each other as I have loved you. (John 15:12)

79.) 14 Do everything in love. (1 Cor 16:14)

80.) “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Mat 22:37)

Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]? (Mat 9:25 -27)
96.) Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)
97.) “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Mat 17:20)
98.) “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

106.) 19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Mat 18:18)
107.) 32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. (Mat 10:32)
108.) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Mat 11:28)
109.) 44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. (Mat 13:44)
110.) 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. (1 John 4:16)
111.) 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (Romans 5:5)

115.)“Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 (Mat 24:4-8)
116.) 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. (Mat 24:9-12)

Ending Section

125.) You smile and hug Jesus……You are full of joy…..You say your good-bye and walk on down the beach. As you walk down the beach, you see dolphins swimming, seagulls flying, beautiful whales in the distance, and the sand beneath your feet….You are in awe of God’s creations…….God begins speaking to you again:

126.) 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. (Deut 6:5)

127.) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (Prov 3:5)

128.) Love the Lord God Almighty! Give thanks! Give thanks! Holy, holy is the Lord God almighty.

129.) Love one another. (John 13:34) Love one another. (John 13:34)

130.) God is love. God is love. (1 John 4:8)

131.) Trust in the name of the Lord your God. Trust. Trust. Trust.

After hearing this from God, you begin to understand your life better as a disciple, a follower of Christ…..you have found truth in these words…Your body soon awakens energized….You are now more hopeful, more optimistic, and your faith has been strengthened. You are ready for another day to serve the Lord!
