Enrique was raised in a church that continually preached repentance, but instead of freeing him, he felt condemned. Fear gripped his life. He became sexually aware at an early age, robbing him of his innocence. Despite his interest in girls, powers and principalities convinced him otherwise. He felt that God hated him. His father belittled Enrique’s mother, and even encouraged his children to do the same. At 10 years old Enrique moved to the United States. He became sexually violated. His orientation turned toward those who would affirm his value. His gay lifestyle proved unsatisfying. For 12 years he lived as a drag queen. Enrique now provides listeners with deep insights into how legalism, abuse, and addiction can lead to an unsatisfying lifestyle; and, how the love of God can provide freedom from the shackles of bondages to live a life of freedom. Now his life is being chronicled in a breakthrough film.
